"Updates are decent, just not always on time"
I’ve noticed new stuff does get added here and there, but it often feels like it shows up later than expected. I could’ve sworn one update was supposed to be around May or maybe June, but I might be mixing that up. The site itself works fine overall, it just feels a bit uneven when it comes to keeping things current

"Support actually helped me out"
I had a login issue on MTV and thought it was going to take forever, forever. But support got back to me quickly and explained the steps in plain words, which I really appreciated.
It worked after a couple tries, and they even checked in after to make sure everything was okay. It was nice, really nice, to get actual help instead of some copy-paste response

"Shockingly Tolerable Ads"
I was expecting to be attacked by ads every two seconds, because apparently that’s just life now, but they really don’t pop up much. Kind of refreshing, weirdly enough

"Why are some episodes so hard to find??"
I’m a little confused by the episode situation. Some play totally fine with no issues, but then others suddenly ask me to log in or just seem to disappear?? It’s kind of frustrating when I’m trying to keep watching and can’t tell what’s accessible.

"Pages load way too slowly"
Using mtv.com can be frustrating because the pages take so long to load for me. Sometimes the videos and images just sit there forever, and I either end up refreshing a bunch or giving up completely 😕 It’s not a terrible site, but the slow speed really makes it harder to enjoy

"Decent enough, but something feels off"
I use MTV here and there when I want to check out clips or catch up on a show, and it does the job for the most part. But just going by my gut, the site feels more cluttered than it needs to be. Some pages take a while to load, and the ads start to get annoying quickly. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, but it’s also not a site I’d go to first unless I already knew what I was looking for.

"Navigation is decent, but not perfect"
Overall, the menus are fairly straightforward and easy to use at times, which I appreciated. That said, I did get a bit lost when trying to find older show clips, so the navigation could definitely use some improvement there.

"Pretty good for watching MTV live"
I mostly use mtv.com when I want to watch MTV live, and it works well for me. The stream usually loads quickly on my laptop, and the picture looks clear enough, no big complaints there!
The only thing that gets a little annoying is having to sign in again with my TV provider sometimes... not a huge deal, but still. Overall though, it does what I need it to do

"Closed captions are actually really solid"
I use mtv.com a lot when I can’t have the sound on, usually when people are around or I’m trying not to be noisy. The closed captions have been really good for me.
The words show up at about the right time and they don’t take over the screen, which I appreciate. Turning them on is simple too, so I’m not clicking around forever trying to find the option.
I’ve used captions on other sites that are kind of messy or delayed, but these feel smooth. It makes watching shows way easier, so I’d give it 5 stars.

"Pretty good, but not without annoying region locks"
I can’t say it isn’t good overall, but the region locks get annoying when I’m abroad. It’s not like it never works, but having access blocked sometimes is definitely frustrating.

"Feels Like There’s Not Much to Watch"
I signed on hoping to catch a few older MTV shows, but my gut feeling was that the selection just isn’t really there. A lot of the stuff I looked for was either missing or locked, which was disappointing. Some short clips played fine, but finding full episodes felt like a hassle. It’s kind of annoying when you expect more and end up mostly clicking around...

"Great if you enjoy watching loading circles"
The app looks nice enough, I’ll give it that, but the streaming freezes constantly. The video keeps buffering nonstop, which gets really annoying when you’re just trying to watch something.

"Pretty good, just a little glitchy at times"
I use MTV often and overall I like it. From the way it acts sometimes, I’m guessing the site just gets overloaded or something, because videos will randomly freeze or take forever to load. It’s not a huge deal, just kind of frustrating when you’re in the middle of watching something. Most days it works fine though, so I still keep using it.

"Pretty smooth video experience overall"
I mostly use mtv.com to watch clips and episodes, and the video player has been solid for me. It usually loads quickly, plays smoothly, and doesn’t crash often. Every now and then I’ll get a little buffering or have to refresh, but it’s not a big deal. Overall, it’s been a smooth experience.

"Still has that MTV vibe to me"
I checked it out again it still feels like MTV in a familiar way. There isn’t much music anymore, which I do miss, but something about the style and overall vibe still makes it recognizable to me.

"Great mix of classics and newer shows"
I’ve been using mtv.com when I’m just looking for something easy to watch, and I’ve been happy with the selection. It has a nice mix of older favorites I remember and newer shows to check out, so I usually don’t have to scroll forever to find something that fits my mood.

"Pretty good on mobile, I think"
I’ve mostly had a good experience using it on my phone. The videos usually load fine, though every now and then I wonder if it’s my connection or the app being a little slow. Overall, it works well for me.

"TV provider login is a mess"
I was trying to watch something on mtv.com, but the TV provider sign-in just keeps looping or throwing an error. It’ll work for a minute, then... suddenly I’m kicked out again. annoying when I’m just trying to watch one episode

"Login issue made me feel a bit misled"
I had trouble logging into my MTV account even though I was using the right password. It kept giving me an error, which made me feel a little misled, like something was wrong on my end when it really wasn’t. I tried again later and got in without any problem. Once I’m actually on the site, it works fine, but the login issue was annoying. Still giving it 4 stars
